West Face, Direct Start

This well-protected pitch has no doubt been climbed many times over the centuries, but as it's not in the guidebooks and we've been climbing it a bunch, figured the addition here would give others a nice alternative to the often crowded first pitch of the

West Face

route.

This route starts just to the right of the chimney that is right of the start of the

West Face

route and stays between the

West Face

and

Polyester Leisure Suit

and finishes at the anchors for either climb.
