This route is located between Cub Scout Corner and Midnight Cowboy. The crux is the finishing moves. If you send the overhang directly, then you will want to skip the last bolt. For lead climbers with less experience rather than send the overhang directly go hard right and use the system of hand jugs to approach the chains, make sure that if you do it this way you protect yourself with the bolt to the right.

Easiest route on 9th Street Crag.  Very easy to top rope with two chains.

3 low grade ~5.6 routes exist on a  west facing rock away from the main wall. Across the gravel road and down the slope. This is my recommended location for taking beginners out within the Ogden area. The top is accessible for top roping, routes are easy enough for first time lead climbers/belayers, and the anchors are great for learning top belay, abseiling, cleaning, etc.

Located to the left of genius and to the right of community service. The first 3-5 moves are the hardest. Very fun underclings and balance.

A great route.  The crux is just after the first bolt, but stays hard to the top.  A great steep route, if it were longer it would get 4 stars

This is the route on the farthest right hand side of the 9th street wall. The crux is at the bottom. Thin holds and tricky moves lead to steep rock with nice jugs at the top.

This is a fun route up a slabby section of rock that doesn't climb much like a slab route.  Start of with some fun technical stemming to get to the first bolt, then some trickery will get you up to the clipping jug for the second bolt.  From there some easy climbing leads you past the third bolt, then at the fourth head to the right around the corner and straight up to the anchors.  This route faces east, so it is in the shade most of the time which is nice for warmer days.

Small holds down low. At first bolt reach big out left and let and let the technical climbing began. Original finish on Just like pull'n teeth but can be finished on Crank Addiction direct.

This is the hard looking line of bolts directly to the right of Vile of Crack that goes straight up through the hardest part of the roof.

Probably easiest to boulder it out with large pads and solo to the anchor/top.

I don't know what the true name of this route is or who the first ascent is, but I heard it called Reverse Traverse today and the name fits.  This is a link-up of Vile of Crack to Cleft Lip and gives you the cruxes of both routes plus some additional harder climbing as you make the reverse of the crux traverse moves on cracked lip.  This certainly bumps the grade up a bit from Vile of Crack and probably puts it in at around 5.11d or easy 5.12a.

Shares first 2 bolts of Crank Addiction then goes up left line of bolts. First bolts are spaced out. A fall on going to bolt 2 could deck.

Because this route is not bolted, and there are no anchors at the top, it does not get climbed that often.

To set up the TR, build an anchor with trad gear at the top. There are two good boulders you can sling as well. Drop the anchors that attach to the rope through the obvious "V" in the rock.

The bottom of the route has several different paths. One climbs out over a bulge and then moves right into a little dihedral. The next follows the dihedral (to the right of the bulge) from the ground up.

Then it is a little slabby up to the headwall which overhangs.  The overhanging part is the crux. There are a couple of cool moves up to some big holds. There is a nice gaston in the middle. Moving left makes it a bit easier.

Big holds mixed with some fun traversing small stuff.  This is a great route that takes a short crag and makes a long route out of it.  The Crux is making the final traversing part over to where vile of crack continues up.

This is an easy 3 bolt route on the east face of the large rock that sits about 50 feet south east of the main 9th street area.  The crux of the route is between the second and third bolts.  The route is mostly a jug haul, but it is slightly overhanging.

A sharp rock alcove on top of the hill. It had a slight overhang with a window inside the alcove. Hornets inhabit some of the pockets look before you hold.

This is a new route that is the furthest route left on the wall.  The crux was right at the second bolt where there weren't a ton of holds and it was a bit more technical.  The rock is still cleaning up and had a lot of sections with loose stuff still on it, though all of the big holds appeared to be solid.

This is a linkup that shares the start with "Vile of Crack", and "Like Pull'n Teeth".  After the second bolt of Vile of Crack, start heading right as for Like Pull'n Teeth and clip the first bolt of that route.  This is where the crux is encountered as you make a couple of big moves on small holds.  After pulling through the crux, head straight up into the corner system and finish on the unknown 5.12c.

Bouldery start leads to easy slab climbing above. The first few moves are tricky making it a good idea to use a stick clip for the first and maybe second bolts.

Start on two hand awkward side pull just left of Hankerin. High feet put you inverted on the first move so a stick clip is a good idea. Route follows a left leaning feature. Midway route splits go right. For a more moderate finish go left I don't know the name on the line going left. Due to the hard star going left is still 5.12c.

Crimpy climbing split with a undercling rest. Crux move is right after clipping the first bolt then fight the pump to the top as the top half of the route is slightly overhanging.

Steep roof at the bottom with big holds. Stick clip the first bolt. Once over the lip, the climbing is strenuous and sparse. There are some good holds, but you need to put the sequence together carefully.

This is an easier route that shares the last bolt and chains with Edge of Madness to the right.  Begin with technical insecure climbing up to the bulge, then continue over the bulge with some more insecure moves until you get the big jugs just before joining Edge of Madness at it's last bolt.  From here just continue up the jugs to the anchors.

Same start as Cracked Lip - go straight up after you clear the roof.  The crux is on the face just above the roof as most of the hold are thin and crimpy.  Fun route!

Fun climb and a good first time lead. After the 2nd bolt you can go straight up for a 5.9 or veer to the right for a 5.8 experience. Late afternoon during the summer finds the climb in shade - still warm, but not too hot (although the rock retains a lot of heat, so don't forget your chalk!)

This route covers the entire wall, from "The Reach Around" to "Genius/Edge of Madness", with fun movement throughout.

The main crux is moving up "Jerusalem", over to "Cleft Lip", then down and through the crux of "Cracked Lip". After that, belay at the chains for "Like Pull'n a Tooth/Teeth".

The second pitch is much easier, if more run out. It's a bit of a choose your own adventure anywhere from 5.9 to 5.11 depending on how high or low you go. Bring a few cams to prevent a really bad fall (BD #3 and #0.5 work well). Belay at chains for "Edge of Madness".

This is a new route found just to the left of Shino and is now the second route from the left side of the crag.  The route is great for beginners and really doesn't have any hard moves, but the crux is probably right at the 3rd bolt where you have to get a high foot on a big ledge to make a slightly reachy move.  This route felt much cleaner than the other new route to the left of it.

Start on vile of crack traverse right at second bolt. Keep going right until you join THC. If you go up after traversing one bolt it is about 12b. I don't know the name of that one.

This route follows the obvious flake system out of the cave, the hardest move on the route is probably the one getting off the ground, but the redpoint crux is right at the third bolt making a leftward traverse before gaining the easy ground past the last bolt to the chains. Fun and interesting movement throughout the overhanging lower portion of the climb. Lots of drop knees and even a knee bar or two will help you surmount this route.

Fun short route would get a lot more stars if it were just longer. Works up easy for 10 feet to first bolt.  Heads left using an awesome flake with some good crimpers after it. once you turn the roof you are at the chains. The crux is at the third bolt.

This route shares the start and the crux with Hankerin'.  Start up the blank nearly featurless rock using the few key holds available to reach the third bolt.  At this point continue straight up clipping another bolt before joining the upper section of Crank Addiction Direct Finish.  Very interesting moves through the lower crux.

Noticed this route when we setup our top rope for Nerve Damage and this route was much more in line with the anchor. We were able to climb Nerve Damage and then this route back to back, making it a nice bang for our buck setup wise.

Since we didn't have any trad gear we hiked up around the back of the rock face to get to the anchor. Up top there is a large rock with a bolt that we used to lower to the route anchor so that we could set it up safely.

A different start to Nerve Damage as it merges half way up. Fairly obvious start at the bottom with a nice jug and left hand pocket for a few fingers. Throw a left foot out and catch it on the out cropping rock. From here I had to stiff arm with my right and bring up my right foot. At this point I had to shimmy up with my feet a bit as holds are fairly sparse. There are two pretty good crimpers on the right, and after a bit of shimmying I could grab with my right and then match hands on it. Feet placement at this point are pretty tricky and I think I was more or less smearing. After that you can either try and make a big move to the nice jug, try continuing to smear up, or use the fairly good hold to the top left that's apart of Community Service. That hold specifically probably keeps the route in the 10a/b range. If you do it without I'd say 10b range due to the cruxy-ness of it. From there the jug leads into the last half of Nerve Damage.
