MapGranite Pancakes & Scrambled Eggs
Description
Got lost and was running out of sunlight on a December day. We were just looking for a route that was warm enough to do in 40 degree weather. A very mild slab route that some would possibly consider to be a scramble. I think it is a good route for learning trad, as there is a near infinite amount of placements for a full range of gear. The plus of this route is that you get to summit of the Hogsback as we were trying to get to Hogswild and the North face.
Location
On the south side of Hogsback. Looked like it started directly across from Hourglass. Begin ~100ft east of ‘Peanut Brittle’ (maybe 50ft East of ‘Spirit of Adventure’ based on that routes photo). We hit a tree to set an anchor for the second pitch.
