Coin de la Souris

This route starts around to the left of Rodent Arête and the Mice and Men corner. The wall generally faces NW.

P1: Climb an obvious, left-leaning corner to its top. Move right and climb a slab to a belay at trees (5.5; 120'). P2: Scramble to the top of the buttress (3rd class; 30').

Note: In the winter, this climb occasionally forms as a mixed climb (NEI 3+; FA Chester Drieman & Todd Swain January 1981).

The Webster guidebook lists the name as "Cornier de la Mousse" and the Wilcox ice guide lists the route as "Cornier de la Mouse." It should be French for "Corner of the Mouse" (Coin de la Souris). The mouse names on the buttress refer to the 1971 horror movie "Willard."
