One of the biggest baddest offwidths around! This beefy 9" crack splits a roof just off of the Angels Landing hike. Caution: the cave is an amplitheatre and will project your Ludacris very loudly towards the poor folks hiking Angels Landing.
Location
This is in the big cave on the south side of Angels Landing. Hike along the Virgin river north, then turn up the wash in refrigerator canyon for a few hundred feet. It's an easy scramble up to Gabriel from here.
Protection
1X#6 Camelot and 4X 9" Cams (Valley Giant 9, Merlin 8 or BD 7) is plenty. This roof was bolted a good while ago and several have been pulled and patched. Three bolts remain low on the route but are unnecessary. Bolted anchor on top.
