Peak Mountain 3

Comstock Quarry

Description

[Edit]

An East facing wall found on the backside of an outcropping of rock. The bouldering here is good quality with nice landings for most of the routes. Found out about this area through bookofboulders.com. There's evidence of old bolts, a top rope pole, and homeless people burning tires and sleeping there. The easy access and close proximity to town make this spot worth a visit for an hour or two. There appears to be an even bigger cliff further uphill to the East, but the complete lack of details on what looks like a beautiful Trad climbing cliff lead me to believe that the cliff in question is on private property.
