Lover's Fortress

Lover's Fortress is an 8-foot buttress at the entrance to the Mini Fortress area. It is located in the tree line just before First Fortress Boulder, and has shade for the majority of the day. Being in the Mini Fortress area, not many people come by. On busy weekends, you may only see a couple people all day, if at all. Being only 8 feet tall, most climbs start directly on the ground to have any real challenge. There is an easy walk-off the back of the boulder. The ground at the base of the east side of the boulder is fairly flat.
