Grampa Grunt's Wall

This wall is the largest at Bald Rock and is located behind (North) of the Colossus Boulder. This wall has a 60 deg overhang (low to ground) on the right side while the face is slightly off angled and broken by large diagonal cracks. Though easy looking, this cliff offers up some good difficult moderate climbs.

The wall is named after Ted Quintin, Grampa Grunt, who passed away this morning, 09/21/2012. He is a dear friend who will be missed by the many lucky folks who had the pleasure to visit his famous ski lodge, Grampa Grunts Lodge, located a close distance from the slopes of Jay Peak.
