Fake Emergency

Description

This is a thin face climb project with a few interesting sections that are more difficult than the other two routes, as it moves through a more technical set of stems and crimps in the beginning, setting you up for a longer enduro climb on crimps that are pretty small.  Follow the route through blocks and sidepulls as shown in the pic up to the small crack, and then climb left at an angle to the side of the bulging headwall. Rounding out towards the top it finishes on a small ledge beneath the Tower.

Location

At the base of the Ethan Allen Wall this route is found to the left of the start of EvanEssence. There are some blocky corners at the base to show where the route begins.  A few of the blocks are broken and cracked and make for a decent marker for a start of this new project, which is still unfinished. The anchors are found on the north side of the top of EvanEssence, and require a short 40' tag line to lower off a tree to the staging ledge where the anchors are set for toprope. From the anchors of EvanEssence, walk the top of the cliff over to the next section after the headwall and climb down to the next flat tier.  The toprope anchors are there in a offset line so different sized runners are used, as it can be used for two routes depending how you lay your runners over the bulge of rock at the top underneath the bolts.
