Shadow of the Marmot

This route lies approx 100 feet to the left of Winchester and begins at a 5 inch wide undulating crack with good face holds. Halfway up the route there is a two bolt anchor from which to belay. The routes first crux is at a roof above this belay. From there the route moves up into a finger crack that takes good gear. The route terminates at a bolted anchor on the ledge which cuts across most of the face. From the ledge a walk-off or double rope rappel is possible

the route is reached by walking around the right side of the tarn and begins approx 60 feet to the right of the notch which is the gun sight.
