Description

Around the corner, to the left of the main south face routes, is this route through steep black patina. Starts up a boulder on the desert floor, pulls into a varnished bowl. The committing pull into the bowl puts you directly below a handish crack with a smaller fingercrack/overlap just to its left. Beware some loose crystal chunks in the bottom of the handcrack. Work both cracks to exit. Not much to this one, but it's kind of exciting on the solo since the crux is the exit.

Location

The combination of black patina, a boulder to start off of and the "bowl" is pretty obvious. About 20' left and around the corner from DOA.

Protection

Nuts and a couple cams fingers to hands.
