Die Too High

Description

This is the easiest way to the

Sills' Route

anchor. It is a fairly fun route and is protectable along its length. You move to the left about 3/4s of the way up on a good, protectable ledge. The crack is smaller than a hand crack for most of its length.

Location

This is on the east face of the rock to the left of

Sills' Route

. The crack starts well below

Sills' Route

, but you can do a leftward friction traverse to the crack if you do not want to climb down to its start. You get down from the bolted anchor on

Sills' Route

.

Protection

Standard rack, 1 fixed pin. The anchor is shared with

Sills' Route

at the top.
