Fingers and Toads

This is the easiest way to the top of Toad Rock. A gear-protected 5.0 that tops out on a cool formation. Excellent first time climb (if you sufficiently extend your anchor; otherwise, your rope drag will be considerable).

After topping out, many opportunities exist for an anchor. For this route, the nice long horizontal crack works well.

Start on the low-angle slab and trend right as you head up. Climb/scramble around the steeper blocks. This may feel like 4th class terrain.

Bring some gear to protect the climb, if inclined, and some medium cams and nuts for a toprope anchor.
