Peak Mountain 3

The Humidor

FA Alan Bartlett, Todd Gordon, 8/1997.

Description

Steep right-slanting crack in dark rock that starts thin, becomes tight-hand sized, then undulates between going a tad wider to hand slots or squeezing back down to fingers, and leads up to big jugs to top out.  Upper half of crack on the taller south-facing main wall gets sun most of day, while the bottom half stays in the shade inside the corridor.  Nice wind shelter at bottom.

Protection

Pro to 2", gear anchor.
