Starline

This is the obvious crack one glimpses just before reaching Starbuck Right. It runs up 40' and dies out. The crack has enjoyable climbing in the 5.6 to 5.7 range until the last ten feet, where the difficulty cranks up considerably. A committing move reaches a narrow ledge (purple C3 is a critical, tricky, & strenuous placement at this point), then a bolt-protected bit of face climbing reaches a few final holds before topping out.

This is the obvious 40' sumptuous crack line near the left end of the Ledge. It deadends before reaching the top, and a bolt is visible up there.

Small to medium cams. That 00 Purple C3 for the crux. Save your #2 C4 for the top.
