The Hand

The crux of this route is between the 2nd and 3rd bolt. Both my friend and I thought it was easier than the 10b rating given in D'Antonio's book. We thought it was about 5.9. There is a hidden hold at the crux which eases one's passage. You can place gear above the bolts, on easier terrain, if you wish. It would be a long fall if you fell near the anchor having placed no gear.

This route is about in the middle of the rock to the right of

Motorcycle Diaries

and to the left of Magic Bus. You can lower or rap from the anchor. There is an overhang at the second bolt.

Four bolts to a two bolt anchor. You can place a #1, and a 0.75 or 0.5 Camalot above the bolts if you want.
