MapBrinton’s Arete Left V3/V6 sit
Description
For the sit, start on the left side of the arete, with a low downpulling crimp for the left hand and a gaston for the right. Climb the left side of the arete. A sustained and pretty darn good problem with a quite a good landing.
For the stand, just stand. It’s a sweet problem.
From a previous description by Peter Erard in 2007 : "The crux would be the second move from a standing start. What's bad about it? The hands, barely any handholds. When there are handholds, they're non-existent. Semi-sharp edges leading into a slopy two-finger edge. From there, finish on top with a solid bomber hold."
Location
Just below the classic route, Brinton’s Crack.
Protection
A couple pads, maybe a spot. There is a mantle finish.
