Description
Named in honor of climbing legend Chuck Pratt, this route is a true test of your smearing skills and body tension. I imagine Chuck would have solo'd it back in the day with hob-nail boots. Stickclip the first bolt or build an anchor for your belayer in the horizontal crack at the bottom of the wall. The route is short, but the exposure is wild and intimidating at first. There's not a lot of beta, you have to layback the arete and smear your feet on almost nothing for the first 3 bolts. It gets much easier after that, but you will still be wondering why you feel so gripped and insecure on a 40 foot route. Enjoy the stunning view from the anchor!
Location
It is located on the far right side of the Hall of Fame, on the obvious slab feature that holds
Sidewalk Sam
.
Protection
6 bolts + an anchor.
