Ophir Arete

Dear publisher. My name is Antoine Savelli. My wife and I have lived below the Ophir Wall putting new routes up for 40 years. Access to the lower East Buttress is now closed from our property, indefinitely.

Ophir Arete, as the name implies, has a crux on the second pitch that goes at 5.14a/ 8b. Noteworthy of attention, those who chose the rather chossy leftward crux, that goes at 5.10c.

It is on the lower, center East Buttress.
