Exposed Chimney
Description
Start at the bottom of the chimney by scrambling up the rock connected to the ground. As you ascend into the chimney, face outwards away from the rock, in order to make it as safe as possible. It is juggy, and you get great feet all the way up, although it is a highball due to the lack of an area for a mat. Top out on the left side of the chimney, if you were to look at it from the ground. It feels sketchy but is only around a V1 climb.
Location
If you enter the Hard Knox Rocks crag from the left, it is one of the first climbs that sticks out. It is a chimney tucked away in the corner of the crag, just right of the classic Central Scrutinizer.
Protection
A crashpad is necessary, but there is no good spot to put it. A spotter would be definitely be recommended to help stabilize the crashpad.
