Blind Electrician

Description

A tad contrived but a good climb. Essentially stick to the blank face and arete as much as possible.

Start with two hands on the north face crack (caked in chalk above a large block). Pull over to the crimp around the corner. The next move is a stretch to a sloped arete about two feet above the crimp. Continue up the face for a few moves until the holds run dry, then transfer right, to the northwest face and finish on the sloping holds to the crack on the highest point of the boulder to top out in the tree branches. Don't simply cross over to the jugs using the crimp edge, or you're climbing Rewired.

Location

North face of Powerline Rock. Start is the low crack at about eye level.

Protection

One pad covering the rock poking out of the fall zone.
