Exit Wall, Africa Start

As described in the

NCCC

guide for the area, this problem starts with matched hands on the Africa-shaped chunk of darker rock just to the right of the arete and moves pretty much directly up from there, quickly reaching considerably easier climbing.

This one starts just a couple of feet right of the arete. It is not quite a sit-start, rather a "hanging" start.

A pad is nice. Don't fall off the top; it's a long way down.
