Tonka

Along with Toy Truck, Tonka is a member of that rare breed of easy, fun climb in the Valley. Start standing on good holds, and head straight up.

Right of Toy Truck, on the backside of the Boysize boulder. There will be two lines that start on good holds at head height, and go straight up. It looks, for a moment, like there is a line in the center of the two, and you could probably force one, but it makes more sense to do this as two separate lines.

Rack to 4" with doubles in 1/2" to 3". Offset Aliens, Lost Arrows, Angles. Two sets of nuts is nice. Also, a couple of stakes or blades for protecting the long snow pitches. Bring webbing, and make sure to have two lines with you for the descent. Just kidding! You only need one pad.
