MapAssume The Position
Description
Assume The Position climbs a slightly overhung face on decent rock over a good landing. The rock quality is sandy, but it holds where it counts, and the movement is worth a visit.
Sit start with a left hand jam, a right hand edge on the diagonal rail, and tricky feet. From there, move to the shelf, follow to the next good shelf, reach a crimp, set a heel on the shelf, pull up to some sloper edges at the lip, top it out.
Location
It climbs the center of Grandissimus' south face.
Protection
A pair of pads should be good. The immediate landing is very good, but there are some rocks that surround it.
