Evening Stroll

Evening Stroll is a fairly good but apparently overlooked route. This climb deserves more traffic than it gets and is really quite a lot of fun until the chossy ledge you top out on on the traditional finish of

Auburn Lane

.

This route starts as for Moonlight Drive and finished as per

Auburn Court

. Between the two lies a crux and some pretty good climbing.

While I'd like to give a better description than the book, Levin makes this difficult. He simply states that one starts as for

Moonlight Drive

, but atop the flake (15-20' runout), one must traverse right to join

Auburn Lane

or

Auburn Court

. I recommend the latter of those two if you already have grade-ware.

A set of cams from 1" to 4" plus stoppers/chocks. Long are slings helpful if you are doing this as a single pitch. Doubles in 2"+ are beneficial.
