Haystacks

In 1890-91, Claude Monet created 25 paintings of haystacks! He was interested in how the colors of these stacks changed at different times of the day. Here at Robinson Bluff we have the modern version of haystacks - huge round hay bales, wrapped in plastic, lining the edge of the field just across the river. One wonders if Monet would find them as interesting.
