Center Left Face+Arete

Description

Interesting sequence in lower part, then some additional thoughtful less-difficult moves to finish. . . (Likely more difficult for climbers less tall than 5ft6inch with normal reach).

Up the face a few feet, then move up right to meet the arete which forms the left edge of the obvious center right gully. Finish up the arete or along its right side. . . (The arete could also be reached more easily by starting up the center-right gully partway and stepping left).

warning: Loose rock is still a concern here. Belayer or other members of party should not stand anywhere near underneath the climber.

Location

On the face which is to the right of the obvious corner (which forms the boundary between the ESE-facing left part and the S-facing right part of this sector), and to the left of the obvious center-right gully.

Protection

For ideas how to set up Top-Rope, see description of this Dime Store sector.

Protection for Trad leading is unknown and likely inadequate.
