The Crack that Never Was

FA TR 2004 M. McCormick, M. Sprague, B. Libby
CREATED
UPDATED

Description

On the left side of the White Owl face, crimp your way up the difficult face until the holds lead you left to join the handcrack right variation top of Wide Owl. Follow the handcrack up and right to a set of bolted anchors. The route was left unbolted as the direct start is slightly contrived and the anchors can be reached by climbing the right variation of Wide Owl. The climbing is good though.

Location

Left side of the White Owl face, just right of Wide Owl.

Protection

TR, bolted anchors, trad rack to lead Wide Owl to the anchors
