Description
A hard start with no gear leads to jugs and no gear, then lower angle climbing to a series of cracks flakes and flares. Gear is not plentiful, but once a crack is reached, an experienced trad leader will probably feel ok about it. Not for so one aspiring to the grade or to placing gear, however.
Location
Far left on the E. face of the rock, and just left of a juniper, a washout at the base creates a short slab for feet that can be used to reach up for some jaggy hand holds. Boulder this no get established up above, high-balling a few moderate moves up and left into a flare/crack system. Climb this up nd then left into a second system when it peters out. Belay on top on gear, then head to the north (right) to rap from rye crisp or the other neRby chains. 70m rope best for the higher rap...
Protection
A mixed rack from nuts to hand sized cams.
