Description
START: On the blocky steps to the Right of the tree 10 ft up.Scramble up to the tree, step left of it and directly up to a "white" face (old piton). Directly up this, then easy cracks above, moving right(1) on a ledge to a thin-ish-crack; up this ["crux" (1) 5.5, maybe 5.6-] and the final, short, right-facing corner (2) / crack. 100 ft 5.4 - 5.6 Gear Belay: Medium Cams or Nuts [note, someone has placed a totally unnecessary 2 bolt anchor] (1) Slightly easier is to continue straight up, then traverse right to just below the final corner.(2) The photo in "the Trunk" is of Jim Mirabella and a nut in this final "corner / crack". From how the rope runs, the leader took the easier route to the final corner, as the top of the "thin-ish" crack can be seen in a line directly below the carribiner on the end of the sling .
