Walk the main trail until you see a prominent triangular boulder with a vertical face up on the hill about 25 yards away. If you have gone to or past the washout, you have gone too far. Once you are directly beneath the boulder on the main trail, find the small trail that trends up and left on a switchback. Trend left (south) until you reach a large rotting log. Follow the log up and right until you are about the same elevation as A1. Continue straight (north) until you are standing beneath the prime line, A mother fuckin 1.
