Description

On the barn door boulder on side that faces the road, just to the left of underdog traverse, two parallel cracks that run up the face. Follow either of the cracks. This route is fairly simple, with no defined crux, but it is intiminating because of the height and semi greasy holds from little use, but don't get me wrong it is a lot of fun, just don't fall because of the ledges below you, would surely break your legs if not more.

The two cracks climb differently, the left crack you climb with your hands in the crack and using the good feet it provides along with other feet once is starts arching to the left. The right crack however really doesn't get used much, there are a lot of good holds around the crack, so the right crack climbs more like a face climb.

A possible harder variation is possible if you climb the left crack until it starts trending left, from there move across the face right towards the other dog track...I haven't done it yet but it looks harder.

Location

road side face on barn door boulder, cracks start above a little ledge

Protection

Pad, a strong head, and not falling from top.
