No Tidings of My Man

This crack starts generously at the bottom and becomes narrower as it goes up before disappearing to liberally applied mortar marking an especially challenging crux. Use the broken edge of the mortar as a left side-pull to cross to a high crimp and work your way through a forgiving final sequence to the climb’s completion.

Stand at the northernmost corner of Cellblock 3, near the entrance to the hospital. Directly north is a large crack that diminishes as it climbs, fading away entirely about 4/5ths of the way up the wall. This is the last big crack on the north wall approaching the guard tower to the east.
