The Little Things

Description

The Little Things. A reminder that not all good things have to be big and bold. This was my first bolted sport route, and it serves as a milestone for my route development. Scalloped sandstone invites you toward a head wall of black and brown oxidization with crisp horizontal openings and unique patina shapes.

Location

-----Warning: This route has an added approach.-----A nice corridor of sandstone houses the Unnamed 5.10 Wave route, as well as the popular Unnamed Cove route, about five minutes past the first routes upwash from the bridge. Above this area on the right (East) is a low angle scramble followed by a short section of fourth class, that approaches an old campsite and some walls with potential. Past the site and up the hill a bit is a North Facing wall, (among others) with a built landing and a promise for good climbing. The climb is also located beneath a large pine tree looming atop the cliffs edge.

Protection
