Description
Begin on amazing rock with holds that would be much better at other angles until you reach some easy slabbing to get established under a beautiful band of quartz. Use the best hold at Russell (okay, there are a lot of best holds) to work your way right to the arete and climb your way up perfect rock. Once you cannot move up any further, step high and right to gain the small dirt ledge where the anchor now lives (Had to move these anchors to try and make lowering off slightly easier.) Lowering off is fine but I recommend the second cleans on top rope. It has been done plenty of times cleaning on lower but there is a potential for a swing if not careful. A great warmup for doing the Winter Wall circuit. Do them all!
Location
Furthest right climb at the Winter Wall.
