Quid Pro Quo

Description

Compression moves through slopers and the arete lead to the crux of nabbing a thin crimp on the otherwise blank face. A pounce to a jug on the lip sets up the easier but delicate finish.

Location

On the mostly sunny SW face. Start laying under and hugging the prow, left hand crimp undercling, right hand perfect slopy pinch/sidepull. Find feet to slap left hand to the arete. Right hand/heel match to take the sloping horizontal rail, left hand bumps higher. Flip hips for a high left foot on the arete. Squeeze until you locate the blind right toe hook and can reach the crimp. Set up for a pounce to the jug then wide right to a good sidepull crimp. A few moves using the arete and face to the right for the top.

Protection

2 or 3 pads. Spotter and a worried dog help too.
