Exceptional Mediocrity

Exceptional Mediocrity climbs an undercut slab on some of the finest rock in Unaweep. The movement is awkward but well worth a visit.

Sit start with hands matched on the obvious jug. From there, either crank up and mantle to the sloping edge above, or just crank up to the edge (this worked for me), then gather your feet, reach a left hand sloper, and finish straight up the remaining slab on good edges.

It climbs the center of Puce's east face.

A pad or two. The landing is perfect.
