Description

The newest Raspberry Wall testpiece! Start in the small right facing dihedral and work your way into the left-facing shallow corner. Interesting liebacking and stemming (5.11+) will bring you to a good rest about half way up the route - from here, move right around the arete into the crux. Work your way up the seam and arete using technical (!) footwork, compression and liebacking until the seam peters out and you can step right (balancy!) to reach a new seam. Climb this seam to the top of the route and lower off. 70m rope required!

Be nice to your belayer - back-clean the first draw once you've clipped the second bolt.

Luke and I spotted this line in summer 2019 and found out that Tai Devore had already put an anchor on top of it a while back - thanks to Tai for graciously allowing us to use his anchor to suss and bolt both this route and Rubus Cube. The original line he had envisioned would have climbed the first half of Rubus Cube into the top of Nadine - while this proved unclimbable, once we messed around for a while we realized that there were two awesome independent lines there.

The grade reflects the fact that neither Luke nor I had previously climbed anything harder than 13b, and both agree that this rig is harder than anything else we've climbed. Excited to see what future ascentionists think!
